If there are three, they are strike weight, time weight, and chime weight, probably in that order as you face the front of the clock. Hold it over something that will not get damaged by hot solder. Heat until solder is wet. Move the whole thing towards something that cannot move, slap it against the table, most of the solder will fly off. Resolder with good stuff, 63/37 has a narrow plastic range so it transitions from liquid to solid rapidly.
The general rule is to do clock work you will need a larger lathe than the ones used for watch work. A very popular lathe for clock work is the Sherline Lathe. The Sherline lathe also can be used with the WW and 8MM attachments used in watch repair. But again the Sherline is limited in doing precision watch work.
If cleaning and oiling make the thing work, it will be a short term fix till the wear/friction cycle takes over and makes the clock movement unreliable again. Modern clock movements (made in the last 50 or so years) have a life span. That is 25-30 years depending on operating conditions.

Visit a local clock repair person, he/she might be able to give you some scrap movements to practice disassembly.

I live in a rural area (45 miles from the nearest 'big' town of 35,000) right near the big rock known as Devil's Tower---very rural.
