Reminder that the RTX 3060 is only 7% faster than RX 6600 in gaming (based on TPU), but cost 50% more (based on newegg). I have this in a rig atm. Undervolted at 1090mv it is the most impressive wattage usage in gaming atm. WoW runs at around 30W at 1080p. If you MMO game like WoW and FFXIV and do a lot of it, this card will save you money.
RX 6600 in 2024 - 21 Games Tested. I'm using one as a placeholder GPU until I upgrade in the next few months. Got it for $150 used which at that price is really good value for an 8GB card that's solid at 1080p and 1440p. I got a used one in December, previously using the 5600G APU. It was a great upgrade.

Which made the 5600XT a questionable value b/c 1) Nvidia lowered the RTX 2060 price to $300 (though it was usually around $325) 2) The RX 5700 was usually around $350-375 (which was below its launch msrp). So the 6600 launching with a $330 msrp looks like a segment price point.
Yes. If you have a bit more money get rx 6600 xt. I got that paired with 5600x they make a great combo for 1080p gaming, maybe even 1440p in some lighter games. Reply reply. thatonerobloxkid. •. 5600x is good for any gen of AMD and NVIDIA, just a very good value CPU altogether so there’s no problems.

At 110 C, the fans will spin up massively to maintain a temperature lower than 110 C. RTX cards are not allowed anything higher than 85°C, and I'd have been screaming here if this wasn't AMD! Yes, I've a microATX compact case with 140 mm front fan and 90 mm extraction fan. Ryzen 7 3700x (with Jonsbo CR-701 dissipator) and Pulse RX 6600 (not XT).
Afterwards, in MorePowerTools select "AMD Radeon RX 6600" (or your video card model) from the drop-down box at the top. *This step is important, you must select this for MorePowerTools to write the SPPT".
