Daryaganj (literally "A market near a river") is a neighbourhood of Delhi inside the walled city of Old Delhi. The "darya" (lit. The "darya" (lit. "River") refers to the river Yamuna which was just outside the walled city.
The Zeenat-ul-Masajid (Urdu: زینت المساجد), [2] also written as Zeenat-ul-Masjid and popularly known as the Ghata Masjid (lit. ' Cloud Mosque '), [3] is an 18th-century Mughal Sunni mosque located in Daryaganj, Central Delhi, India.
The road from this gate passes through Daryaganj leading to the Kashmiri gate. A part of the fort wall to the east has been demolished to build the Old Delhi Railway Station while the wall to the west exists. The gate is now a heritage site maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. [2] [3] [4] [5]

Kundan Lal Jaggi (10 September 1924 – 4 March 2018) was an Indian chef and restaurateur based in New Delhi.Kundan Lal Jaggi is the inventor of butter chicken, dal makhani, paneer makhani and the founder of the Moti Mahal restaurant along with his partners Kundan Lal Gujral and Thakur Das Magu in 1947 in Daryaganj, Delhi.
