Humboldt County is a county in the U.S. state of Nevada. As of the 2020 Census , the population was 17,285. [ 1 ] It is a largely rural county that is sparsely populated with the only major city being Winnemucca which has a population of 8,431. [ 2 ]
The north of Grass Valley is traversed by Nevada State Route 294; for 5 miles (8.0 km) into the valley it is paved.It becomes the unimproved road, Grass Valley Road, and goes through the valley center-east near the mountain foothills; 25 miles (40 km) [7] further it reaches Goldbanks (site) at the south terminus of Grass Valley, the northwest region of the Tobin Range.

The Humboldt County Courthouse is a courthouse in Winnemucca, Nevada, the county seat of Humboldt County, Nevada, which was completed in 1921. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 19, 1983. [1] It was designed in Classical Revival style by architect Fredrick J. De Longchamps.
