On Bosnian market, Banka Poštanska štedionica Banja Luka continues the tradition of the former Bosnian branch of Komercijalna banka a.d. founded in Banja Luka on 26 September 2006. It is a member of Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AOD) [ 4 ] and it is supervised by ABRS banking regulator based on CB BiH [ 5 ] regulations.
Also, Poštanska štedionica became the first financial institution in all of SFR Yugoslavia to introduce the credit cards. In 2002 Poštanska štedionica becomes a fully operational bank, and, in 2006, it changes its name to Banka Poštanska štedionica a.d. [3] It was admitted to the free market in Belgrade Stock Exchange on February 7, 2006. [4]
On 27 March 2020, JUBMES banka a.d. Beograd changed its name to Alta banka a.d. Beograd On 30 April 2021, Vojvođanska banka a.d. Novi Sad changed its name into OTP Banka Srbija a.d. Novi Sad On 19 November 2021, Opportunity banka a.d. Novi Sad changed its name to 3 banka a.d. Beograd

The majority of Serbian banks previously licensed by the National Bank of Serbia to operate in Kosovo have been shut down. These banks previously operated in the official currency of Serbia, the Serbian dinar. [2] Komercijalna Banka ad Beograd is now licensed through the Central Bank of Kosovo. [1]
