She earned her master's of arts in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2008 while she was a graduate assistant with the Sooners softball team. Deifel's sister, Amanda Scott, is currently the head softball coach at Missouri-St. Louis and won a Women's College World Series title at Fresno State in 1998.
What also has stuck is the decision to choose Arkansas softball over LSU, which came in Oct. 2022. Her father, Clint, played baseball for the Razorbacks back in his day.

Bogle Park is a softball stadium located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is the home of the Arkansas Razorbacks softball team. The stadium was built in 2007, replacing Lady'Back Field, and opened in time for the 2008 season. It is named for Bob and Marilyn Bogle. [2]
