Yellow Creek State Park is a Pennsylvania state park on 2,981 acres (1,206 ha) in Brush Valley and Cherryhill Townships, Indiana County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The park encompasses parts of Yellow Creek and Little Yellow Creek. The old Kittanning Path goes through the parkland. The park was established in 1963.
This district encompasses 225 contributing buildings that are located in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Tunkhannock. These are residential, commercial, and institutional structures that were built between 1841 and 1954 and designed in a variety of popular architectural styles, including Queen Anne and Italianate.
The original section was built between 1817 and 1829, and is a 2 + 1 ⁄ 2-story, three-bay, stone building with a gable roof and massive gable chimney. It was expanded between 1905 and 1905 by John B. McCormick. At that time, a large, two-story hip and gable roofed addition was built on the rear.
