I believe it adds to the evolution of the Jell-O brand over the years, though knowing when (what year) the discontinued flavors were added &/or discontinued would further add to that end in my opinion. On a related note, I am somewhat perplexed as to why "Strawberry-Kiwi" is listed both in the "Current," as well as the "Discontinued" flavors.
