Golden Leroy Sunkett Jr. (March 28, 1918 – May 9, 1993), nicknamed "Pete", was an American Negro league pitcher in the 1940s. A native of Melfa, Virginia, Sunkett played for the Philadelphia Stars from 1943 to 1945. [1] Following his baseball career, he served as a police detective in Camden, New Jersey.

Gary Allen Srery (July 26, 1942 – April 27, 2011) was an American rapist and serial killer who was responsible for murdering at least four women in Calgary, Alberta. [3] Each victim was between the ages of 14 and 20 and were killed between February 1976 and February 1977, but the cases were only grouped together in 2021 through DNA evidence.
