RTS 2 (Serbian Cyrillic: РТС2; Second program of RTS (Serbian: Други програм РТС-а, Drugi program RTS-a), Second channel of RTS (Serbian: Други канал РТС-а, Drugi kanal RTS-a) or known domestically as simply Second program (Serbian: Други програм, Drugi program) is a Serbian public TV channel operated by Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).
The first radio station in the Balkans and South-East Europe was established in Montenegro with the opening of a transmitter situated on the hill of Volujica near Bar by Knjaz Nikola I Petrović-Njegoš (1841–1921) on 3 August 1904. Radio Cetinje commenced broadcasts on 27 November 1944 and in 1949, Radio Titograd was formed.
By October 28 the radio station already had a scheduled programme. On April 11, 1941, the station's transmitter in Domžale was destroyed and the station was occupied by Italy. TV Ljubljana's first broadcast for Eurovision in 1960. On April 1, 1949, the first TV laboratory was established in Ljubljana, but was separate from the radio station.
An evergreen news magazine has more flexibility in production, not having to be produced on a set time frame; instead of producing a new newscast every day or week, a show consisting of evergreen content can produce several episodes at once and release them in sequence.
