The Sydney Roosters are one of only two extant clubs from the League's foundation year of 1908, and are the only one to have played continuously in all seasons since, making their players' register one of the most extensive. Only first grade stats are counted and non first grade stats do not apply on this list.
The club was founded in 1908 in Paddington, Sydney, as Eastern Suburbs; in 1995 the club's name was changed to the Sydney City Roosters, and in 2000 to the Sydney Roosters. The team's Leagues Club is based in Bondi Junction and its home ground, administration and training facilities are located at nearby Moore Park .

Mitchell Aubusson (born 1 October 1987) is a former Australian professional rugby league footballer who played as a second-row and centre, spending his entire career with the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League (NRL). He won three NRL premierships with the Sydney Roosters in 2013, 2018 and 2019.

In round 22 2021, Whyte made his NRL debut for the Sydney Roosters against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium in a 21–20 win. Whyte re-signed with the Roosters club until the end of 2024.
