Kushi was theatrically released on 1 September 2023. It was released in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. The film was initially scheduled to release in December 2022 but was pushed to February 2023 following production delays. The film was then again pushed to 1 September 2023.
Kushi was the culmination of a streak of seven consecutive hits for Pawan Kalyan and his style, mannerisms and dialogues from the film were much imitated by the youth. Kushi Kushiga (transl. Happy happily) is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by G. Ram Prasad. Starring Jagapati Babu, Venu, Ramya Krishna, Sangeetha, and Nikita Thukral and music composed by S. A. Rajkumar. [1] The film is a remake of the 2003 Malayalam film Chronic Bachelor starring Mammootty.
The film was released theatrically on 2 December 2022 along with a Telugu dubbed version under the title Matti Kusthi (transl. Mud wrestling).
