Rocksprings is a town in and the county seat of Edwards County, Texas, United States. [4] At the 2020 census, the town population was 874, [5] down from 1,182 at the 2010 census [6] and 1,285 at the 2000 census. The town received its name from natural springs associated with the porous limestone rocks in the area.
Barksdale is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in the hill country section of the U.S. state of Texas. It is located in Edwards County. In 1990, Barksdale had 617 inhabitants and six businesses. By 2000, the population grew to 1,081 with sixteen businesses. [1]
Albion is located south of the center of Edwards County. In it, Illinois Route 130 and Illinois Route 15 meet. Route 130 leads north 25 miles (40 km) to Olney and south 10 miles (16 km) to Grayville, while Route 15 leads east 16 miles (26 km) to Mount Carmel and west 16 miles (26 km) to Fairfield.
