The College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Arlington is a professional school of design located in Arlington, Texas. [ 1 ] The School of Architecture's newest program is a graduate-level Certificate in Property Repositioning and Turnaround, added in 2009.
UTA is the only university in the North Texas region to offer degree programs in architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning. CAPPA offers internationally recognized degrees in architecture, interior design and landscape architecture.
In 2014, UTSOA's graduate Architecture Program was ranked #10. In the Dean's Survey, the undergraduate Architecture Program was ranked fourth and the undergraduate Interior Design Program was tied for fifth. [16] Rankings were recently updated for 2017, with UTSOA placing in the top 10 for its undergraduate Architecture Program at #6. [17]

The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA or UT Arlington) [7] is a public research university in Arlington, Texas, United States. The university was founded in 1895 and was in the Texas A&M University System for several decades until joining the University of Texas System in 1965.
UTA failed to receive funding in 1977 for a 10,000-seat, $14 million special-events center for basketball and volleyball; the center was never built. [223] The College of Business Administration building was dedicated the following year. [33] In 1982, UTA received funding for its Architecture Building and a thermal energy building. [223]
